Journaling Prompts

Unfortunately, there are just some days when you open your journal and have no clue what to write about. You might want to try a prompt! One reminder to those new to this is to not just answer the prompt, but to try and go beyond it. Don't be afraid to get into random details or go off on weird tangents, because it's there you'll end up making new discoveries about yourself! So without further ado, here are the prompts:

1. How would you describe yourself to a stranger?

2. How would a stranger describe you?

3. Describe a word that means so much more to you than it's dictionary definition.

4. What is something that makes you happy?

5. How do you define an adult?

6. How do you define a kid?

7. What do you wish other people knew about you?

8. What are you worried about?

9. What is something you have taken for granted before?

10. Would you rather lose your sight or hearing? Why?

11. When do you cry? What are the general reasons?

12. What do you think about when you look into the mirror?

13. Establish a one word resolution (for the day, the month, the year, the life, etc)?

14. Describe a food in super rich detail (make your future self hungry!)

15. What is your biggest fear? Why?

Hope you enjoyed these few, and let me know in the comments if they worked for you. If you've found you really enjoy journaling to prompts, I recommend just googling "journaling prompts". There's a whole treasure trove out there of cool prompts. Have fun! :)
