A lil late to this party, unfortunately. Why does May have to be AP month? Why am I paying to take tests that make me torture myself? 

....But, May is also short story month! Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any events for it, so if you have any, feel free to pop em down in the comments. Otherwise, here are some ideas to celebrate!

- check out Story A Day, where the goal is to write a story every day! There, you can also sign up to be on the email list and receive daily prompts to inspire you (OR y'know, check out our short story prompts page :)

- read short stories! You can access a ton online just by looking up "short stories" or you can opt to check out an anthology.

- send a great short story to someone! :)
